The Living History Museum at Schwartz Elementary started in 2006 and continues on today! In 2007, the school received a grant from the Mid-Del Public Schools Foundation for library books and costumes to be used for the Living History Museum. Each year, fifth graders at Schwartz Elementary have a Living History Museum day where the students dress in costumes representing their characters and present their story to school, family, friends, and administrators. Our staff was incredibly excited to see the students today and hear their stories. What a great Friday! #mdpurpose
