Safe & Drug Free Schools

The mission of the Safe and Drug Free Program is to promote a safe, orderly, and caring environment by planning and implementing programs designed to reduce school violence; prevent the illegal use of alcohol, tobacco and drugs, and, to engage students in appropriate behaviors and activities that promote character and facilitate student achievement.


I-Safe-All children receive instruction in areas of cyber-bullying and on-line safety.

Lifelines-A comprehensive suicide awareness and responsiveness program adddressing prevention, intervention, and post-intervention.

Character Counts-A comprehensive program centered on basic values called "The Six Pillars of Character." These pillars are: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.

Student Random Drug Testing-A saliva test administered randomly to students participating in any OSSAA activity.

T3-Time to Talk-A suicide prevention awareness program.
