This is a reminder for our returning Mid-Del families. Emails were sent to our returning families on July 5th that included login information and a link to where families will log in to verify your returning student. If you didn't receive an email or your email has changed, please contact the Central Enrollment Center at re-enrollment@mid-del.net and include your student's name and school in the message. You can also call 405-582-7095. Thank you!

Rose State College is partnering with Mid-Del Public Schools to expand concurrent enrollment opportunities for Mid-Del students. The Rose State Jump Start program strives to break down the barrier’s students may have experienced to concurrent enrollment, including lack of transportation, lack of extra financial support to cover course fees and scheduling issues with their high school courses.
“Rose State looks forward to continuing to expand opportunities for Mid-Del students through growing concurrent enrollment programs,” Rose State President Dr. Jeanie Webb said. “To welcome Mid-Del students, Rose State is providing the necessary space for the students along with highly qualified faculty and access to all of our regular campus support resources.”
By increasing opportunities for concurrent enrollment, we can ensure that students stay on track to successfully complete a degree at Rose State. This approach also opens up new possibilities, such as the 2+1 option, where students can spend two years in concurrent enrollment and then transition to one year of full-time enrollment at Rose State to earn an Associate's Degree.
In the current partnership, Rose State has created an adjusted schedule to provide course times that work for Mid-Del students within the hours of their regular school day. Mid-Del will provide transportation to and from all three high schools to Rose State for courses. Mid-Del will also provide additional funding support for students to cover some of the additional course fees. Through the Rose State and Mid-Del partnership, students will receive expanded dual enrollment course options that work toward fulfilling high school curriculum requirements while earning college credit.
“We are excited to announce the expansion of the relationship between Mid-Del and Rose State College through the Rose State Jump Start Program partnership,” Mid-Del Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Richard Cobb said. “Working together to meet the needs of the students desiring concurrent enrollment opportunities will jump start their efforts in obtaining an associate degree.”
Enrollment ends Monday, Aug. 21, to learn more about the Rose State Jump Start partnership with Mid-Del Public Schools, contact a concurrent enrollment specialist via email at concurrent@raider.rose.edu or call (405) 733-7951.

Over the course of this school year, we saw over 170 students come through our program. I don't have the numbers, but with that came over a thousand credits recovered to ensure that most seniors we saw this year managed to find a way to walk the stage. We are proud of our students, and are grateful to have had the opportunity to help lost scholars find their way in life.
With today being the last day of school, it was filled with both excitement and sadness as disciples cried at the finish line. We will miss all those that have come across our path, and will be ready to welcome those returning next year—along with every new face that walks through our doors. Enjoy the summer, everyone! May you fill your free time with positive memories!
School is out for the Summer! We hope all of our Mid-Del students and families have a great summer break! Seniors, we look forward to celebrating you at Graduation this Saturday! #mdpurpose

For those who were curious, the filming for our district's bus expectations video was also a success! I forgot to post the update yesterday! Here are some shots from the "set" starring our young actors.

Minus the short drizzle, today made for perfect zoo day weather! Everyone had a wonderful time, and overall, it was a huge success.

After participating in a webinar this morning with the National Weather Service, we've made the decision to cancel evening events for tonight. This is for all schools, including the Mid-Del Technology Center, but does not include OSSAA events, which are outside of our control. Hopefully we can get everything rescheduled in the time we have left this year. We've included slides from the webinar for your information. Stay safe. #mdpurpose

With only 2 weeks left, it's time to celebrate all the hard work our teachers have dedicated to this school year 🥳! With that being said, to commemorate this calendar year, here's a shot of the majority of our team! Some elected not to participate or were absent at the time the photo was taken 🙁; however, their efforts are recognized in our mission to help as many students as we can!

Great news/opportunity for our students!
Working with the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Student Services (Heather Graham), our school's students have been selected to participate in a video to demonstrate the Mid-Del School district's bus expectations!!! Our district's mission statement of being safe, challenged, and ready extends beyond the schools—it also takes place on the buses. Transportation does their best to ensure our youth get to and from school safely, and it's time to lay out clear expectations. With that being said, our students will be the model for the vision.
See the English and Spanish version of the flyers below!
For parents: we will be sending out permission slips for the students to be able to participate. Expect these slips the beginning of next week, as the shooting of the video will be soon.

I apologize for the late notice; however, I just received Del City High School's dates as well. If you're a DCHS student attending Career Academy, please pay attention to the following dates. You're almost to the finish line. It's time to celebrate/prepare!

Class days remaining have hit single digits! No need to hide it (everyone is counting). In the meantime, for all of our Seniors from Carl Albert High School, please review the attached dates/events. Graduation is quickly approaching, and it's time to prepare!
