We want to make you aware of an incident that occurred today at Del City High School. A student reported information about a possible gun being brought to campus. The report was immediately shared with authorities, and the Del City Police Department responded swiftly.
Because of the quick actions of the student who spoke up and our law enforcement partners, the situation was addressed promptly. The individuals involved will not be returning to our school.
At all times, the safety of our students and staff is our top priority. We are grateful for the cooperation of our students, staff, and law enforcement, and we appreciate the importance of reporting concerns.
