Administrators from Del City High School and Bishop McGuinness High School have agreed to cancel their football game scheduled for Friday, September 18th due to COVID-19 related issues. Two Del City players and one coach have tested positive for COVID-19. Mid-Del administrators have identified any members of the team who may need to quarantine and have communicated with those individuals directly. The game scheduled to take place was a non-district game and will not be rescheduled this season.
Out of an abundance of caution, Del City High School Football facilities and equipment will be deep cleaned and practices will resume on Monday, September 21.
