After deliberation, the Del City High School Administration and Fine Arts Organizations of Band, Orchestra, and Vocal Music, have determined that a pivot from the traditional in person Winter Concerts to virtual concerts is best during this time of COVID-19.
This December, our 2020 fine arts students were looking forward to being the first organizations to perform in person in the newly renovated Del City High School Performing Arts Center. But as COVID-19 cases continue to climb in Oklahoma and in our own community, we believe this is the best socially responsible path for us to take in order to not spread the virus even further.
We are immensely proud of our fine arts students. Creating virtual productions with them will be fun, memorable, artistic endeavors. We look forward to a time we can once again present in person.
