Out of an abundance of caution, Mid-Del will have a fully-remote learning day Wednesday, February 10, 2021. All district schools and offices will remain closed. We will not be providing food service, and all activities are cancelled. The Mid-Del Technology Center will remain closed as well.
The National Weather Service office in Norman has issued Winter Weather Advisories with the expectation that freezing drizzle and freezing rain from midnight tonight until 6 pm tomorrow will result in deteriorating travel conditions on Wednesday. Any ice on roadways tomorrow will be slow to clear as temperatures will remain in the low 20s all day with single digit wind chills.
Throughout the day tomorrow, we will be monitoring updates to the forecast for Thursday and Friday, including the threat of wind chill temperatures in a dangerously low range.
