The Carl Albert Special Olympics and their Unified Partners went 3–0 in their round-robin games, but the real highlights were the laughs, high-fives, new friendships, and nonstop cheering! Several of our Unified partners came out to support us, along with some of our Unified alumni, which made the day even more special.

We loved celebrating alongside Edmond Santa Fe as they were recognized as a Unified National Banner School—such an awesome and well-deserved moment!

Wins on the court, memories for life off the court

The Carl Albert Special Olympics and their Unified partners played and competed in Bowling, Unified Basketball, and Basketball Skills, this past weekend. They showed determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship every step of the way. From big smiles to even bigger efforts, we are so proud of how our team represented our school and community. Several bowlers and individual basketball skills competitors placed in the top 3, and our Unified Basketball team earned 2nd place in a hard fought matchup.

Thank you to our Unified partners, Unified alumni, coaches, volunteers, and families for supporting our athletes and making this experience so meaningful. Moments like these remind us that everyone deserves a chance to shine!

The district is sponsoring an informational meeting in which information will be covered about the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA), which is a graduation requirement for seniors. Someone will be there to help you with the FAFSA if you need help with it as well.
For concurrent students, especially new to concurrent this spring, information will be given concerning how to log in for your classes and your email, and complete things, plus other information.
