It’s Teacher Appreciation Week!
Today, we celebrated the heart of our schools – our amazing educators! Teachers across the District were recognized by their peers and received the Raving Fan Award from our incredible Instructional Coaches.
A huge shout-out to our Mentor Teachers who nominated our rookie educators for the RAD Award – Rookies Achieving and Developing. These rising stars are already making a HUGE impact, and we couldn’t be more excited to see them grow!
Let’s continue to celebrate all our teachers' dedication, passion, and hard work. They inspire, they teach, they lead. We are beyond grateful for all they do every single day!

CAHS Info: This is for current 8th graders going to the high school next year.
Boys basketball will hold a tryout on Monday, May 19th at 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the Carl Albert Fieldhouse. It will consist of the current incoming freshman class, incoming freshmen that are not currently on the team, and any other classification that wants to try out. Current high school players will not be a part of this tryout process. We will base our evaluation on the following criteria: Current Incoming Freshman: Demonstrate that you are still interested in playing and can compete at the high school level. Incoming Freshman not currently on team: Demonstrate that you are better than the current incoming freshman. Incoming Sophomores: Demonstrate that you are good enough to play on our JV team and push for a varsity uniform. Incoming Juniors: Demonstrate that you are good enough to start on JV and suit up or play for the varsity team. Players will be evaluated and the coaching staff will decide whether or not you are given the opportunity to play in our summer program. If you are NOT given the option to play in the summer then you will NOT be able to be on the basketball team next year. If you ARE given the option to play in the summer, we will use the summer as an additional evaluation period to determine if you are in a position to be a part of the basketball program when school starts. Basketball at the high school level is very competitive so we will evaluate the players with that in mind. We will also look at grades and discipline records to use as a determining factor. Use the attached QR code to sign up.
