We encourage our students, staff, and community to wear purple on Monday, April 15th for Purple Up! for Military Kids Day! Purple Up! For Military Kids is a day for communities to wear purple to show support and thank military children for their strength and sacrifices. Purple indicates that all branches of the military are supported; Air Force blue, Army green, Navy blue, Marine red, and Coast Guard blue all thought to combine together as a single color, purple. #mdpurpose #militarypride #purpleup

The Board of Education named Mrs. Adrianne Harless as Assistant Principal for Carl Albert Middle School. Mrs. Harless has a strong tie to the Mid-Del Community by being an alumni of Soldier Creek Elementary, Carl Albert Jr. High, and Carl Albert High School. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and two master’s degrees. Throughout her career she has had stops at Mustang North Middle School, Northside High School in Fort Smith, AR, Southmoore High School and Carl Albert Middle School and currently serves as the Administrative Intern at Carl Albert Middle School.
Adrianne and her husband, Tim, have two children, Easton and Gracen.

Mid-Del will be hosting a NCAA Family Night for student athletes who will be completing 8th grade through 12th grade on April 22nd at 6pm at the Mid-Del Technology Center. Come learn more about OSSAA guidelines as well as what you will need to be NCAA ready if your goal is to play a sport in college.
