We're ready for a great Thanksgiving break! Mustangs had a fun filled drop off this morning. 🦃

Turkeys? What turkeys? 🤔 Mustangs of all ages did some fabulous work concealing their feathered friends! 🦃😉 We've got super heroes, minions, popcorn, an astronaut, and even Mrs. Royal and Mrs. Parker.

Thank you so much to Del City High School Band for spending time with our 4th and 5th graders. They got to learn all about the instruments, watch them perform, hear from students about their experience in band, and even participate in some chants.
We appreciate you pouring into the next set of Eagles! 🦅

Thank you Sunnylane Baptist Church for supplying 5 Mustang Families with Thanksgiving dinner. We are so grateful for our community partners. 🦃

Thank you to the support professionals that make our school amazing! EH wouldn't be the same without you!! 💚

Happy National Parent Involvement Day!
Today, we celebrate the incredible impact of parents, guardians, and families who partner with our schools to support student success. Your involvement—whether volunteering, attending school events, helping with homework, or simply encouraging your child’s learning journey—makes a difference. We're building a brighter future for every student, one step at a time together. We have an exciting opportunity for our families through a series called Engage: Parenting with Purpose sessions.
We invite you to attend Engage: Parenting with Purpose, a series designed to equip parents with effective strategies for fostering connection and empowerment in their relationships with their children.
When: January 21st, 6:00–8:00 PM
Where: The Learning Services Center, 4731 Judy Dr. Oklahoma City, OK 73115
This eight-week program consists of two-hour sessions each week, focused on parenting approaches that strengthen the parent-child bond. During our time together, we will explore a variety of corrective strategies that promote positive communication and healthy discipline, while offering practical tools to help guide your child through life's challenges.

We look forward to having you join us for this enriching experience! #mdpurpose #NationalParentInvolvementDay #OneDistrictOneFamily

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Mid-Del Public Schools Foundation for their generous donation, which made it possible to create calming corner kits for Mid-Del elementary schools. These kits equip students with valuable self-regulation tools, allowing them to recognize their emotions and discover effective calming strategies. Many of our Epperly Heights teachers are already putting these to great use. We are so grateful! 💚

Thank you to our generous community members for donating coats to Epperly Heights. Mustang parents, if your student needs a winter coat please follow the link to our request form below. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdUCpPtREKFziuKGrhxTKIISJjxSoFDljEN4EgLo9OO4tVp1g/viewform?usp=sf_link

Ms. D's class has been learning all about vowel teams and digraphs through interactive letter boards and group work. Great job 2nd grade!

Good morning Mid-Del Families,
Due to ongoing weather threats this morning that would impact the morning drive and bus routes, we have canceled school for today, November 18, 2024. This is an inclement weather day, NOT a virtual day. Stay safe!

Today our Academic Team competed in the Mid-Del Brain Bowl.
Great job to Gauge Jiminez, Joshua Sterling, Paisley Covert, Arianna Jackson, and Braylee Fisher. As well as their coach Mrs. Deaton and today's sponsor Mrs. Looney.
We are so proud of these Mustangs!

Counselor Corner Awards for November go to...
⭐️Best Class- Mrs. Watson and Mrs. Brigette
⭐️Rockstar Teacher- Ms. Shaw ⭐️Leadership- Mr. Barney

Ms. Nicky's class has been all about the letter A! They made alligators, did apple tasting, practiced apple graphing, and even had apple pie. 🍎🍏

Please see information about our Harmony Fast Pass for November. Fast Pass allows you to skip the kiosk line on the day of the event.

We are proud to honor our Veterans for their bravery and sacrifices that safeguard our freedoms. While our schools will be closed, our administrative offices will remain open. Thank you for your service! #mdpurpose #TeamTinker #VeteransDay #OneDistrictOneFamily

Congratulations to our 24-25 Teacher of the Year Mrs. Valerie Minor! We are so grateful for Mrs. Minor and all she does for Epperly Heights. 5th grade is lucky to have her!

Thank you to our generous community partners for choosing to support Epperly Heights!
Sunnylane United Methodist Church donated us two full bags of socks and undergarments. Meadowood Baptist Church donated three bags of coats to keep our students warm.
We are grateful for both of you!

This morning our school participated in a virtual Veteran's day assembly. ❤️💙 Our choir sang for us, 5th grade students read poems, and we heard from Mr. Hill about his service and what it means to be a servant leader.

Pre-K has had a very special job the past few weeks.. baby chickens!
They read books, did lessons, kept them warm, and even signed birth certificates after they hatched! 🐣 It has been a wonderful learning opportunity for our students. Thank you to the local farm who donated eggs to us.
