We are so very proud of our Mustang Botball team. Yesterday, they showed perseverance and resilience at their competition despite there being no electricity. Though it was cold and dark, they still managed to complete multiple challenges. 👾💻

It is School Librarian Appreciation Day! We are beyond fortunate to have someone as dedicated as Mrs. Looney. Through carefully curated lessons she instills a respect for literature and love of reading in our Mustangs. She's our student devices coordinator, Book Fair queen, and helping hand to anyone who asks. We are so grateful for you! 📚💻

Yesterday our first grade students were invited to watch a play at Oklahoma Children's Theater. They saw “A Sick Day for Amos McGee” based on the book by Philip C. Steed, the 2011 Caldecott Winner for distinguished American Picture Book for children. They first got to read the book with Mrs. Looney, then received the immersive experience with Oklahoma Children's Theater. Afterwards, they had a picnic and got to play at the park. As you can see in these pictures, they had a blast!
