Midwest City Elementary School

Good afternoon, Midwest City Elementary families,

Earlier today, Tinker Air Force Base conducted a controlled burn, and some smoke has lingered near our school campus. We wanted to make families aware in case any students experience asthma symptoms or other allergy-related effects.

As a precaution, our staff is taking proactive steps to help reduce any remaining smoke inside the building while continuing to maintain all safety and security procedures.

This message is being shared out of an abundance of caution. If you have any concerns regarding your child, please feel free to contact the school office.
