Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to welcome our students back for a great school year! If you have not yet started your online enrollment, please know that your child will not be allowed to attend class or school until the enrollment process is complete.

If enrollment is completed today after 4:00 p.m., your child will still not be able to attend class tomorrow. This is because we need at least 24 hours to review and verify all documents, and during the school day, our focus will be on supporting the students already in the building.

Completing your online enrollment as soon as possible will make sure your child has a smooth start and does not miss valuable instructional time.

🌞 Join us for Mid-Del's Summer Sunrise! 🌞 📅 July 19th | 9 AM–12 PM 📍 Mid-Del Learning Services Center – 4731 Judy Drive in Del City Summer Sunrise is your one-stop shop to connect with Mid-Del staff, grab school resources, and make sure you're ready for the new school year! 📋 Need to finish enrollment? If you haven’t completed Phase I of Enrollment, we encourage you to stop by during Summer Sunrise! 📌 Phase I Details: ✔️ On April 21, families should have received an email with a Snapcode for each student. ✔️ This Snapcode is required to complete the re-enrollment process. ✔️ Phase I lets you verify and update contact info, address, and more. ✔️ Phase I must be completed before you can move on to Phase II (residency verification). ❗ Didn’t receive a Snapcode? Current Mid-Del Families, It’s time to begin Phase 1 of the enrollment process for the 2025–2026 school year! Phase 1 opened at 8:00 AM on Monday, April 21, 2025, for all current Mid-Del students—especially those moving to a new school site as they advance from elementary to middle school or middle school to high school. You should have received an email on April 21 containing your child’s Snapcode, which is required to complete re-enrollment. This step allows you to verify and update your student’s information, including contact details and residency. Important: You must have your student’s Snapcode to begin. If you do not receive your Snapcode, please contact your student’s school directly. Once Phase 1 is complete, you’ll be ready for Phase 2, which begins July 15 and includes submitting your updated proof of residency. 2024-2025 School Calendar Update! The Board of Education approved a change to the 2024-2025 District Calendar during tonight's Board of Education meeting. Mid-Del will be using the Snow Day originally scheduled for May 2, 2025, as a regular instructional day. That means students and staff WILL be in school on May 2. Please mark your calendars and plan accordingly—thank you for your flexibility and support! #mdpurpose

🚨 Weather Update – After-School Activities Canceled for April 1, 2025🚨 We’ve been closely monitoring the forecast and have participated in NOAA webinars and briefings from the National Weather Service. Due to the potential for severe weather later today, all after-school programs and activities are canceled for Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Classes will continue as scheduled, but we are taking extra precautions to ensure everyone's safety this afternoon. Latchkey services are also canceled after school. Wednesday, February 19, 2025 Good afternoon Mid-Del - I hope you've all been able to stay safe and warm these last couple of days. Things are looking up. We aren't supposed to get any more precipitation, and tomorrow morning's wind chill should only dip down to negative five! Yeah, that's pretty bad still. The roads are still sheets of ice. Our parking lots and sidewalks are a mess. Hopefully tomorrow, we will have a chance to start clearing some of the slick areas. Because of all of this, we will have another Remote Learning Day tomorrow, February 20, 2025. Hopefully (fingers crossed) we will be able to be in school Friday. Until then, stay inside if there's any way you can. Don't take any unnecessary risks. We'll get back to teaching and learning soon enough. Sincerely, Dr. Rick Cobb

Mid-Del Families, Mid-Del administration has been in continual contact with the US National Weather Service in Norman, Oklahoma, regarding the winter weather forecast and the travel and safety concerns expected this week. In addition, we have been following our meteorologists on local news stations who share similar concerns. For the safety of our students and employees, Mid-Del Schools will have Remote Learning Days on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, and Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Please check your school's website for the Remote Learning schedule at www.mid-del.net. * Mid-Del Technology Center will not have classes on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. MDTC will not have (DAYTIME) classes on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Please check our MDTC socials for information about Wednesday, February 19th, evening classes.
