Carl Albert FFA hosted its 9th Annual Welders' Rodeo with 17 teams from all over Oklahoma competing. The project this year was to build a 10ft X 6ft trailer in 6 hours.
The results were:
1st place Howe FFA
2nd Chouteau FFA
3rd Strother FFA
Although we did not win, our team did very well with only 11 points difference, out of 250, from first place.
Our team consisted of 4 senior girls and 2 freshman boys.

Carl Albert’s boys swim team won their first ever state title Friday at Jenks High School. The Titans swept the three relays. Mason Corey was second in the 100 backstroke, while Jackson Lorenz (2OO IM), Owen Ramirez (50 freestyle), Shane McClung (100 freestyle), Ben Sutterfield (100 backstroke) each finished third individually.

Mid-Del Schools has a scheduled Professional Development Day on Monday, February 19, 2024. There will be no classes for students. Students will return to school on Tuesday, February 20. #mdpurpose

Did you know CA is now a Unified Champion School for Special Olympics?
What this means is that students with disabilities and students without disabilities will be participating in Unified Sports competitions but also promoting inclusion and acceptance in different activities throughout the school year.
1. Our first school wide activity will be the week of Feb. 12th - there will be a banner in the main hallway for all faculty, staff, and students to sign that they accept the challenge to Promote Inclusion!
2. Our 2nd challenge will be on Saturday, Feb. 24th as our Special Olympians and their Unified Partners take the Polar Plunge (MWC fire dept.will provide the polar experience in the North parking lot). Please help us by taking the plunge with us, donating and sharing this information. See Flyer for more information.
