Our community always comes through! This year, we asked various local businesses and organizations to help welcome our students in for state testing. For 7 straight mornings we had music, high fives, dance moves, and words of encouragement filling our upper grades hallways. This changed the trajectory and energy of our testing zones. We would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the community members who signed up for a morning shift. Your presence, positivity, and passion for Mid-Del students matters. Thank you to Del City Fire Department, Del City Police Department, Praise Assemblies, Del City High School Leadership, Del City Chamber of Commerce, and Del View Church. A special thank you to Del City high school leadership for creating over 50 signs and posters to hang in our hallways. Our walls were covered in reminders and encouragement for the entirety of testing. As well as, a personal thank you to Mr. Kevin Hill who created all of the large signs in these photos for volunteers to use. Lastly, thank you to retired EH employee Ms. Elsie Cain for coming each and every single day to help our hallway hype squad.
