🎶JUKEBOX TIME MACHINE 🎶 Great job to our talented 4th grade Mustangs! They had not one, not two, but THREE performances today. The audience was moving and grooving to songs across the decades. We are always excited to see our students shine in fine arts. 🎭🎤

HUGE thank you to Cornerstone Church in Midwest City for donating clorox wipes and tissues. These supplies will get us through the end of the year and we are beyond grateful! Keeping our Mustangs healthy is a priority and now we have the products to support this goal! ❤️🫶🏽

Thank you Officer Fittler with Del City Police Department for coming to Epperly Heights this morning. 🚔💙 Mr. Ray's 2nd graders and Mrs. Watson's Pre-K class were excellent listeners. Our students enjoy it when special friends come to visit.. especially when they have a great story to share! 📚💚

We can't forget to celebrate our Mary Bannister Foundation Teacher of the Month, Mrs. Manning! Mrs. Manning is exceptional at what she does. Her classroom is a space where all students learn, belong, and thrive! She is great at providing learning opportunities that teach valuable life skills like confidence, resiliency, and character. The Mustangs are lucky to have her! 🩷🫶🏽

Did you know.. it's National Nutrition Month? 🥗 Epperly Heights is lucky to have the greatest cafeteria staff in the world. Through thoughtfully created menus and carefully crafted meals, students are guaranteed to leave our cafeteria with a full belly. We are especially grateful that all students in our district receive free breakfast and lunch! 💪🏽 This alleviates the financial burden on Mustang families.

It's a trap! 🪤 Mrs. Manning's students were tasked with designing, creating, and presenting a leprechaun trap to the class. As their science activity this week, they were asked to test their designs, adapt their creation, note what did and didn't work, then explain what they learned. These 4th graders were very creative and some had very complex traps. With Lucky Charms and gold coins as bait, no leprechauns were spared.

We love themed activities at Epperly Heights! When possible, our teachers aim to connect current holidays, events, and experiences into their curriculum. This fine motor activity is a great example! Mrs. Watson's Pre-K students are doing a "punch and poke" leprechaun craft! 🍀💚

St. Patrick's Day fun and a sensory activity? Sign us up! 💚 Our abilities classroom got their hands messy this week! 🫟 Our teachers do a great job at keeping learning fun, engaging, and experience oriented.
