It's always a great day to celebrate our team! 🎉 Please join us in recognizing the Mustang staff who go above and beyond each day. January awards go to...
⭐️Best Class: Mr. Ray and his 2nd graders
⭐️Excellence: Mrs. Looney
⭐️Rockstar Teacher: Ms. Nicky and her TA Ms. Wynns
⭐️Leadership: Mrs. Berry

Thank you Sergeant Willis and Lieutenant Barr for visiting us this morning!
Mr. Chris, Ms. Bruce, and Ms. Nicky's classes had a great time reading "The Good Egg".📚 While reading.. the Mustangs noticed some similarities between Lt. Barr and the main character! 😆
We are grateful for Del City Police Department and their willingness to connect with our students.

It's time to enroll for our Spring Grief Small Groups! If your student has experienced grief from divorce, death of a loved one, incarceration of a parent, foster care, etc., this is a great opportunity to connect with peers.
Groups meet each week (for 8 weeks) and are free to Mid-Del students. If you feel this would be beneficial for your child, contact Mrs. Rice at mrice@mid-del.net or extension *7547

Ms. Nicky, Ms. Meeks, and Mrs. Watson's classes all learned about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. this past week. Through books, videos, and activities, students were able to hear about the person Dr. King was and the difference he made.
The Mustangs are thankful for his dream. 🤎🫶🏼

HUGE congratulations to our Support Employee of the Year! 💚🐎 Mrs. Melissa Berry in the main office is our go-to gal! We're grateful to have someone so patient, diligent, and detail oriented. She serves as a support system to all in our building and never fails to provide a good laugh.
She's beyond deserving. Please join us in celebrating this win! 🏆

Take a peek at these marble masterpieces. Mrs. Watson's class recently read "Olivia". The character visits a museum to look at the beautiful pieces of art. In tune with their story, these Pre-K students made marble paintings of their own!
Each one was unique and beautiful in its own way. 🎨💜

A great opportunity for free dental care! Registration is open now, contact University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry if you have any questions!

Check this out!!! 🧪🔬
We hope to see you at Mid-Del School's STEM night. Free food, raffle prizes, and fun activities for all!

Join us in celebrating Mrs. Zundell as our "Hardhat Hero" of the month! 👷🏻♀️
Mrs. Zundell is an integral part of the Kindergarten team and a cheerleader to all in our building. She's calm, steady, and a phenomenal "chaos coordinator". We appreciate her enthusiasm and dedication to helping little Mustangs grow. 🍎

Learning AND a sweet treat? Yes, please!
Mr. Hodges' class has been mastering bar and tally graphing this week. By using skittles, students are able to visualize the data. 📊📈 Good job, Mustangs!

It's Law Enforcement Appreciation Day! 🚔💙 We are continuously grateful for our partnership with Del City Police Department. Our students have developed meaningful relationships with our local first responders. DCPD has visited for guest reading, given Red Ribbon Week presentations, hosted "show and tell" with equipment and patrol vehicles, jumped into dodgeball games, and sponsored multiple students for the holidays. Thank you for giving your time and attention to the Mustangs! We appreciate you! 🐎💚

Mustang Pride Awards are on Monday! If your student was selected for recognition, their teacher will communicate that to you.

Hands-on learning is our favorite. Check out these toothpick and marshmallow bridges! Students in Mrs. Manning's class were tasked with planning, constructing, and testing their bridge's strength!
We are impressed! 💪🏽

It's never too late to make the nice list! 🎅🏼
Students in Mrs. Carbajal's class are putting those writing skills to use today. Epperly Heights is home to the jolliest elves in Del City. 💚
