Check out the Garden Club! Students are starting to see the first sprouts of their labor. They planted many kinds of vegetables and a few have begun rising from the soil. Such a wonderful life skill for our Mustangs.🥔🥬🧅🫛

Our 5th graders created egg launch vehicles from recycled materials. They had to build a structure around the bottle rocket to keep their egg astronaut safe. We are continually impressed by their creativity and love for STEM!
Mrs. Robert's class paired up to work on their biome research projects.

Mrs. Shae's kindergarten students are in full bloom! 🌻
To start off their plant unit, they made flower collages and planted some things of their own. We're very excited to watch this project grow. 🌱

Our staff deserve to be celebrated every day, but once a month they are greeted with treats at their door. We are so appreciative of our Mustang professionals.

Great job to our Speed Fest team for their hard work on Saturday! In addition to testing and watching their plane fly, they were given the opportunity to tour the OSU Engineering Department. 🛫⚙️🛠️
We are so very proud of our Mustang Botball team. Yesterday, they showed perseverance and resilience at their competition despite there being no electricity. Though it was cold and dark, they still managed to complete multiple challenges. 👾💻
April 6th-12th is National Library Week! There's nothing better than a good story and Epperly Heights' Library is the perfect place to find one. We hope you'll celebrate by reading a book with your student this week. 📖❤️

We are beyond fortunate to have someone as dedicated as Mrs. Looney. Through carefully curated lessons she instills a respect for literature and love of reading in our Mustangs. She's our student devices coordinator, Book Fair queen, and helping hand to anyone who asks. We are so grateful for you! 📚💻
This week our 4th and 5th grade choir students were invited to participate in the Mid-Del Music Festival. They have practiced diligently and last night their hard work paid off. 🎶🎤
They did an amazing job and we are so proud!

Yesterday our first grade students were invited to watch a play at Oklahoma Children's Theater.
They saw “A Sick Day for Amos McGee” based on the book by Philip C. Steed, the 2011 Caldecott Winner for distinguished American Picture Book for children. They first got to read the book with Mrs. Looney, then received the immersive experience with Oklahoma Children's Theater.
Afterwards, they had a picnic and got to play at the park. As you can see in these pictures, they had a blast!
