Mrs. Royal's class did a little experiment recently! Students have been learning about electrical, sound, and light energy. 💡They've also learned that energy can be transferred and change forms. By connecting the wires from the battery to a buzzer and light bulb, they were able to apply the knowledge that the current will only flow through a closed circuit. 🔋 We are impressed! ⚡️

Thank you Del City Rotary Club for their donation of hoodies! We are grateful for their generosity and willingness to fill this need. At this time, we do not need any additional donations of hoodies or coats. Our wonderful community partners have provided more than enough for this year. We are so grateful!

We're starting a farm! Just kidding.. but we really do have chickens! Ms. Nicky and Ms. Meek's classes have hatched baby chicks. Starting as just an egg, they watched them break out of their shells, learn to walk, and heard their chirps. They've done baby chick themed activities and had opportunities to care for their (temporary) class pets. These Mustangs are making memories to last a lifetime.

Mr. Chris' class worked on measuring and pattern skills with a delicious twist. They created layered dirt cups (made of Oreos and pudding)! Skills practiced AND a snack? That's a win-win. 😋
