Here at Epperly Heights we pride ourselves on our unified goals. Together, we create a space for all to learn, dream, and belong. Today, students and staff are "teamed up" in our green, black, and white. 🐎💚

It's been a busy week at Epperly Heights!
Del City Police Department and Mrs. Rice collaborated on a Red Ribbon Week presentation for our 4th and 5th graders. This lesson educated students on the dangers and impact of drug use. Through clear visuals and thoughtful conversations, students were able to discuss the ins and outs of safe decisions and healthy futures.
We are so grateful for the time spent in our classrooms and the impact this will have on our Mustangs.

It's all fun and games until the cops show up... then it's even better! 🤪
Some 4th grade students had a few surprise teammates today. Dodgeball is a crowd favorite at Epperly Heights. 💙💪🏽

Mustang futures are UNLIMITED. 🎶 We're prepared to be drug FOR GOOD! 💚🩷 As you can see, students and staff are DANCING THROUGH LIFE at Epperly Heights.

Reminder! There's a Trunk or Treat right here in Del City, TONIGHT! 🎃 Say hello to our friends from the Chamber of Commerce, Del City first responders, Integris Health Community Hospital, and so many more!
Be sure to let them know you're a Mustang! 💚🍬

N is for Nest! 🪺
Ms. Bruce's students made edible bird nests with chow mein noodles, butterscotch chips, and candy for the "eggs"!

Mrs. Royal's class did a little experiment recently! Students have been learning about electrical, sound, and light energy. 💡They've also learned that energy can be transferred and change forms. By connecting the wires from the battery to a buzzer and light bulb, they were able to apply the knowledge that the current will only flow through a closed circuit. 🔋
We are impressed! ⚡️

October Counselor Corner Awards went out this week! Please join us in celebrating the following staff for going above and beyond. EH has some of the best faculty around and these educators continue to set the bar high. ⭐️Rockstar Teacher: Mrs. Manning ⭐️Best Class: Ms. De Jane ⭐️Leadership: Mrs. Minor ⭐️Excellence: Mr. Chris

We're just a few days away!! Don't forget, Red Ribbon Week begins on Monday, October 27th. See attached for scheduled dress up days. Join us in celebrating safe, healthy, and successful futures for our Mustangs!

Thank you Del City Rotary Club for their donation of hoodies! We are grateful for their generosity and willingness to fill this need.
At this time, we do not need any additional donations of hoodies or coats. Our wonderful community partners have provided more than enough for this year. We are so grateful!

We're starting a farm! Just kidding.. but we really do have chickens!
Ms. Nicky and Ms. Meek's classes have hatched baby chicks. Starting as just an egg, they watched them break out of their shells, learn to walk, and heard their chirps. They've done baby chick themed activities and had opportunities to care for their (temporary) class pets. These Mustangs are making memories to last a lifetime.

Mrs. Cranfill's class had special visitors today. Don Vick and Hank Cranfill explained how they used math skills in their careers! This helps students understand that their skills learned now, will impact them in the future!
