Pleasant Hill Elementary School

Congratulations to the Pleasant Hill Debate Team for earning 2nd Place in the Mid-Del Elementary Debate Tournament on March 9, 2024. They were one of 10 elementary teams competing on Saturday, each team debating in three rounds to earn points. The debate thesis was whether cell phones should be allowed for students in schools. Pleasant Hill prepared for both pro and con and presented opening and closing statements as well as 3 arguments for each side. We are so proud of our courageous Cardinals - Jehrico Adams, Jehrnee Adams, Caleb Johns, Eyvan Johnson, Story Marshall, Gabrielle Foster, Tysaan Jones, Josiah Waiters, and Jade Rose, who demonstrated what research, preparedness, and professionalism can earn!
