Pleasant Hill Elementary School

Pleasant Hill Orff Musicians performed in the annual Orff Festival on March 9, 2024, at Ponca City High School Concert Hall. The concert consisted of 9 songs themed Adventures in Camp. Pleasant Hill sang 6 memorized songs - "The Happy Wanderer," "Ricky's Hiking Song," "Horsey, Horsey," "Hop Up My Ladies," "Good Night Mr. Sun" and "Taps." They beautifully played and highlighted the Orff instruments in 2 songs: "Bear Hunt" and "The Loon Calls" and rendered the movement for "The Strange Visitor." Chanel Banks, Victoria Brown, Lael Riggins, Amiracle Berry, Emani Charles, A'Briya McCullough, Tyler Toomey, Ayva Brown, Brielle Riggins, and Avaeh Wilson honored Pleasant Hill through their consistent hard work in rehearsals and committment to learning the pieces with such steady grace!
