Pleasant Hill Elementary School

Twenty-nine of Pleasant Hill's 4th and 5th graders manifested superior Cardinal showmanship and vocal prowess in the 68th Annual Mid-Del Elementary Vocal Music Festival on Thursday, March 28th. Mrs. Morris, Pleasant Hill's longstanding and outstanding music teacher, recruited and prepared the students to confidently represent our school. Over 500 students from the district's elementary schools memorized 6 pieces from diverse musicals, dedicated six hours of training with guest conductor Christine Ford, and performed the perfected songs at Carl Albert High School to a fieldhouse of inspired spectators. The song collection dynamically executed included Seize the Day from Newsies, Do Re Mi from The Sound of Music, Everybody Rejoice from The Wiz, A Million Dreams from The Greatest Showman, My Shot from Hamilton, and Oklahoma! from Oklahoma!
