Pleasant Hill Elementary School

Congratulations to Coach Ford and 5th grade Cardinals Sammy Wallace, Carter Johns, Zion Abraham, and Bailee Blair for their arousing performance at the 2025 Mid-Del Brain Bowl. This academic cohort competed against teams from around the district in the annual battle of the brains. There were 4 rounds comprised of 20 individual questions and 3 team conundrums. Students each had the opportunity to buzz in and respond to problem solving questions, analogies, and logic posers that could be based in any core subject area. During the team portion, teammates deliberated over complex challenges like Set and 24. Sammy, Carter, Zion, and Bailee have been working with Coach Ford for weeks preparing for the big day by engaging in weekly puzzlers for practice. We are so proud of the dedication and hard work you have displayed!
