Pleasant Hill Elementary School

Mallets up to Pleasant Hill's own Orff Ensemble for their peaceful and percussive performance of 10 American folk songs at Oklahoma's Elementary Annual Orff Chapter. Elias Bradley, Jocelyn Buck, Milo McCarroll, Zayn Primer, Caris White, Kailynn Bradley, Da'Mya Okoe, Kaidence Smiley, Gianna Brown, Paris Goldsmith, Dior Peterson, Aubree Grayson, Khalil Wallace, Kinsley Cooper, and Mecca Wilson are the 3rd-5th graders who have dedicated many hours after school perfecting their skills with the legendary director and music teacher, Ms. CarmaNeta Morris. Ms. Chloe Sutton, Pleasant Hill's student teacher, also worked with students to prepare for the festival and played live! Audience members enjoyed their curating a lovely program honoring the 250 years of America's culture through song, movement, and instrumentation on Orff instruments. The festival was held at Midwest City High School Performing Arts Center at 2:30 on March 28th.
