FAM

The first group of Pleasant Hill students had a field trip to the First Americans Museum (FAM) on November 10th. All 4th and 5th graders visited courtesy of the Kirkpatrick Foundation, offering free admission and a bus stipend.  Students had the privilege of experiencing the OKLA HOMMA exhibition with docents and studying the second floor artifacts. The FAM field trip was a tremendous opportunity to learn about Native American history, culture, and Oklahoma land. The museum is phenomenally designed with visually and sensory stimulation through interactive exhibits that engaged students and chaperones alike.
