Pleasant Hill Elementary School

Congratulations to one of our 4th grade classes for winning a $500 class prize from OKC Thunder!  This class is enrolled in the Devon Thunder Explorers program, which offers monthly STEM lessons 4th-6th grades. Mrs. McCabe's class learned about kinetic energy as it relates to the game of basketball, players, and the court. The students engaged in project based learning by creating their own mini basketball courts out of recycled materials while considering all the needs for basketball energy absorption and bounce back for players. Thank you to OKC Thunder for this engaging program and partnering with our schools and community!
