Weather Update May 6, 2024: Evening Activities Canceled In collaboration with the National Weather Service, Mid-Del officials have made the decision to cancel all evening activities today out of an abundance of caution for our students, families, and staff. Mid-Del Technology Center has canceled evening classes. Latchkey and Boys & Girls Club programs have also been canceled for tonight. We understand the importance of safety, and we want to ensure everyone remains safe during potentially inclement weather. Our top priority is always the well-being of our school community. We will continue to monitor today's weather closely and will notify our families promptly if any changes occur to our procedures. For Military Kids is a day for communities to wear purple to show support and thank military children for their strength and sacrifices. What is Late Start? We are asking Mid-Del families who have students attending high school in the 2024-2025 school year to join us for a meeting to discuss a possible “Late Start” for the upcoming school year. What is Late Start: Every 9-12 grade student will start school 45 minutes later on Wednesdays to ensure teachers have time to collaborate about student instruction and achievement. Meeting Date and Time: March 6th at 4pm Where: Mid-Del Schools Board of Education located at 7217 S.E. 15th St

Mid-Del Schools has a scheduled Professional Development Day on Monday, February 19, 2024. There will be no classes for students. Students will return to school on Tuesday, February 20. #mdpurpose
