Dear Parents and Guardians,
It is with great sadness that we inform you of a death in our school community. We received information that our 8th grade counselor Ms. Kellert died yesterday. This loss raises many emotions for our entire school, especially our students. Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to Ms. Kellert’s family and friends.
All of the students received the news of the death by their teachers or counselors this morning. We have counselors, teachers, and our district response team to help our school community deal with this loss. Counselors will be available over the next few days to help them cope with the loss of a staff member. We will provide funeral service information as we have specific details.
