Another field trip in the books! 3rd grade visited the First Americans Museum in Oklahoma City yesterday. ❤️🪶 Students were immersed in a morning of culture, creativity, and games! We appreciate the opportunity to give our students these experiences.
Super Kids Day 2026!!
What a fun day we had! 💚 Thank you to our volunteers for making the day so special. Students had a great time moving from station to station, enjoying treats, and playing games. Some would argue this is the best day of the year! ⚽️🌳☀️

Epperly Heights Patron of the Year
Join us in congratulating our Patron of the year, Megan Crouch and her team at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home and Cemetery at SunnyLane. Their team has helped ensure our students start the year prepared by providing over 100 backpacks to relieve the financial burden from Mustang families. She has also supported our classrooms by donating much-needed items like tissues and Clorox wipes, helping create a healthier learning environment for both students and staff. Megan’s commitment goes far beyond the classroom, though. She partnered with Del City Police Department to help bring Shop with a Cop to 9 Mustangs, collaborated with Epperly Heights to provide materials for a Veterans Day event, volunteered with the Del City Chamber of Commerce, and even went out of her way to donate a Christmas tree to our main office- bringing a sense of warmth and holiday magic to our building.
Her consistent support, generosity, and genuine care for our school community has made a lasting difference. We are incredibly grateful to have Megan as not only a partner, but an advocate for our students and their needs. There is truly no one more deserving of this honor. Please help us congratulate Megan Crouch and her team, our Patron of the Year. 💚🐎

Today, 2 students from all 12 upper grades classrooms competed in our annual spelling bee. 🐝 Every student gave it their all and we are so proud of them!! Special congratulations to our top three winners. 🏆

Thank you Del City Fire Department for coming to visit! Ms. DeJane and Mrs. Shae's classes got to hear about Lou's superpower. Our firefighter friends reminded us that everyone is special AND important in their own way. 🚒❤️ Mustangs also had the opportunity to learn about the fire station and the many things firefighters do. 🔥

2nd grade had a fun day with Star Wars themed stations. Students rotated between reading, rock painting, storytime, writing practice, and more! So much fun!
Yesterday was a BUSY day for our building. Our Abilities classes were also on a field trip, but theirs was to The Science Museum of Oklahoma!
Mustangs got to learn through sensory play and experiments! As you can see, they had so much fun. 🧪🥼
CULTURAL NIGHT 2026
It was an incredible night at Epperly Heights! Thank you to the hundreds of guests who walked through our doors this evening. Our second annual Cultural Night was a HUGE success with live performances, crafts, learning, laughter, an Italian ice truck, free books for all, and more! 📚⭐️
Students grabbed their passports and traveled to 10 different countries tonight. 🌎 Mustang families, thank you for spending time with us- we hope you had just as much fun as we did.

In the main office for $20!
Our community always comes through! This year, we asked various local businesses and organizations to help welcome our students in for state testing. For 7 straight mornings we had music, high fives, dance moves, and words of encouragement filling our upper grades hallways. This changed the trajectory and energy of our testing zones.
We would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the community members who signed up for a morning shift. Your presence, positivity, and passion for Mid-Del students matters.

A special thank you to Del City high school leadership for creating over 50 signs and posters to hang in our hallways. Our walls were covered in reminders and encouragement for the entirety of testing. As well as, a personal thank you to Mr. Kevin Hill who created all of the large signs in these photos for volunteers to use. Lastly, thank you to retired EH employee Ms. Elsie Cain for coming each and every single day to help our hallway hype squad.
