Happy Kindness Week! 🩷
Students and staff had their favorite thinking caps on today. We'll see you tomorrow in your Wild Wednesday animal print and fun patterns!

Kindness Week starts tomorrow!! We can't wait to see your hats. 🧢 🎩👒
It's going to be a great week.

It was a sugar, love, and kindness filled day at Epperly Heights! The Mustangs sure know how to throw a Valentine's party!
We saw games, affirmation hearts, crafts, treats, cookie decorating, games, cards, festive outfits, etc. We hope your student had so much fun. ❤️
No school for students on Monday, we'll see you Tuesday!

It's almost time for Kindness Week.
We'll see you Tuesday in your favorite hats! 🧢👒🎩

Thank you Del City Fire Department for coming to visit again! 📚
Mrs. Mitchell's and Ms. Meadows' students got to hear a story, then chat with first responders! We love seeing these connections and conversations flourish. ❤️🚒

We're excited to celebrate Mrs. Manning, our Hard Hat Hero of the Month! 🦺🔨 Mrs. Manning has been the perfect addition to the 4th grade team this year. She prioritizes relationships with students, brings fresh ideas to the classroom, and consistently makes learning fun. We are grateful to have her on our team! 🧡

We're hiring!!
Come join a team of highly motivated, compassionate, and driven individuals. If you have a passion for students and their success, we invite you to apply at Epperly Heights. Contact Principal Kirk if you have any questions.

A big day for our Speech and Debate team! These Mustangs represented EH well.
They researched, practiced, and perfected their arguments for months. Our students did an excellent job showing off what they've learned! We are so proud! 🐎💚

It's almost time for the Book Fair! Please read information from Mrs. Looney on when your student's shopping time is. As well as, how to load money to your student's e-wallet.
If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Looney! 📚

Thank you Del City Church of Christ and the Kaleo project for helping facilitate the donation of snacks for our building! Each classroom will receive multiple boxes thanks to their generosity.
The Mustangs appreciate it so much!! 💚🐎

An exciting event is coming up!
Join the Del City Eagles for a basketball game on February 12th!
Students from Epperly Heights are invited for a night of fun, starting at 7:30 pm. All students and one guardian will be admitted for free.

It's time for yearbook pre-orders! It's going to be a good one! 25-26 yearbooks can be purchased for $20. Grab an order form from the main office! Also, if you didn't have a chance to snag last year's book, (24-25) there are a few extras that can be purchase for $10 each! Contact Melissa in the main office to get yours.

Mrs. Minor's class created a hands-on wood web! By utilizing organism cards, they were able to provide a visual representation of the natural transfers of energy our food chain creates. We are repeatedly impressed by the creativity and fun our teachers incorporate when learning! 🕸️💚

It's World Read Aloud day! Thank you Del City Fire Department for coming to spend time with our students.
Mrs. Cranfill and Ms. Drake's classes were excellent listeners this morning. At the end, students were allowed to answer any questions they wanted. Some of our favorites were..
"Is there a fire pole?"
"Is there a slide?"
"What snacks do you like?"
"So you sleep at the fire station? But how do you eat??"
"Do you play games at the fire station?"
"Are you like the paw patrol dog show?"
As well as..
👦🏻"Does your firetruck take gas?"
👨🏻🚒"No, it takes something called Diesel"
👦🏽"My dog's name is Diesel!"
The interactions and relationships with first responders are cherished and important. We appreciate them pouring so much time into Epperly Heights.

We're 100 days brighter at Epperly Heights! Students celebrated the hundredth day dressed up as one hundred year olds, making headbands, having balloon parties, practicing counting, and more! 🎈🥳
We're excited for many more days of learning, memories, and fun!

Today our 5th grade students had the opportunity to attend a fine arts presentation from the Del City Eagles! The Mustangs were able to see the multitude of musical pathways available as they transition to middle school.
We had a fantastic time! 🦅❤️🎶

It's been a fun, shadow filled day in Pre-K! Students took a vote, discovered their own shadows, completed groundhog themed sentences, worked on fine motor skills, and even made hats!
Looks like a great day to be a mini Mustang! ❤️

Fraction friends!
3rd grade has gotten creative with their math work! Check out these fraction masterpieces. We're all about making learning fun. 🤩
