The Board of Education named Mr. Tyler McIntosh as Assistant Principal for Midwest City High School for the 2024-2025 school year during the Special Board of Education meeting today.
Tyler is a graduate of Mid-America Christian University and the University of Central Oklahoma. He has served in Mid-Del for seven years, four as an assistant principal at MCMS and one as an AP at CAMS. He taught Oklahoma History and was the head soccer coach for two years at MCHS. Before Mid-Del, he taught and coached at Muskogee High School. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three wonderful daughters, playing soccer, and hanging out with friends. Ultimately, he is excited to return to MCHS and work hard to help our students grow.
Please help us congratulate Mr. McIntosh!

The Board of Education named Ms. Chara Patterson as the Head Principal for Midwest City High School for the 2024-2025 school year during the Special Board of Education meeting today.
Chara Patterson, a native of Midwest City, found her passion for learning and serving others through the dedication of her teachers at Steed Elementary and Carl Albert. Their influence inspired her to dream big and taught her that her possibilities were limitless. With over 13 years of experience in education, she has served students in grades 5-12 as a classroom teacher, coach, and assistant principal within Oklahoma City Public Schools. Mrs. Patterson is thrilled to return to her roots and serve the students and families of Midwest City High School.
Outside of her professional life, Chara cherishes her role as a wife and proud mother of three beautiful children. She finds joy and fulfillment in family time and makes lasting memories together.
Patterson fills the role vacated by Ms. Berger who now is serving the District as the Homeless Liaison Administrator.
Please help us welcome Ms. Patterson!
