Mid-Del officials participated in a webinar with the National Weather Service this morning and have made the decision to cancel all after school and evening activities out of an abundance of caution for our students, families, and staff. We will continue to monitor today's weather and notify our families if any changes occur to our procedures. We will notify our families of important information through the following methods: * Phone, Text Messages, and Emails to our Families * Mid-Del website www.mid-del.net * District social media sites * Local media outlets

The Midwest City High School SAFE club and the Social Studies Department hosted events in honor of Black History Month. Yesterday, they finished out their events by hosting Taylor Williams, Edmond Santa Fe High School graduate, and Ronnie Davis, Midwest City High School graduate, who spoke to the Bomber students about their success. These gentlemen were hand selected by music producer Pharrel Williams to model his Louis Vouitton Collection for Paris Fashion Week. They were selected because of their passion for promoting the culture of the American West, the Black Cowboy Culture we all see in movies and television. Both gentlemen are champion rodeo athletes and runway, as well as, print models. They are sponsored by Wrangler. Currently you can see Taylor in the latest commercial for Timberland Boots. The guests were interviewed by Bomber student journalist, Keiwon Landrum. Great job Bombers! #mdpurpose
