Tonight is the night to see our amazing choir preform! The program begins at 6:30 at the Midwest City High School Preforming Arts Center. Admission is $3 at the door.

MCMS Student Council is proud to present our Winter Ball! This is our dressiest event yet so come dressed to impress! Wristbands will ONLY be sold Friday, December 8th during grade level lunches for $5.00. Wristbands must be purchased in advance during lunches, no wristbands will be sold at the door and we will not take any money at the door. No exceptions. Students may bring money to buy items from the concession stand. Students eligible to attend are those passing all classes and have no suspensions. The dance will take place in the main gym from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Students must be picked up promptly at 8:00pm in the parent pick up loop in the south parking lot or they will not be eligible to participate in other evening events.

We are so excited for all the fun activities coming up as we count down to Winter Break! Next week Student Counsel will be doing pre-orders for Holiday Grams during grade level lunches through 12/7, we will begin our team hall decorating contest, and finish the week with our Winter Ball! The following week you can show your school spirit by participating in the dress up days, enjoy a student vs. teacher basketball game, cheer on your friends in the dodgeball tournament, learn about different holidays celebrated though out the world, and be amazed with the amount of talent we have in our school at the 2nd Annual Talent Explosion! Be sure to check the school calendar so you don't miss anything!!!!

Student Counsel is now taking orders for Holiday Grams! Orders must be placed by the end of the day Thursday, December 7th and the Holiday Grams will be delivered Tuesday, December 12th. Students can place an order during their grade level lunch. Parents/ guardians can order by contacting Ms. York or by completing an order form in either office.
Tier 1 $1- 2 Candy Canes
Tier 2- $2- Can of soda or bag of chips
Tier 3- $3- Holiday treat- choose from hot chocolate bomb, cookie, or brownie
Tier 4- $5- Singing gram performed by Student Council members
Ultimate Package- $10- 2 candy canes, a holiday treat, signing gram, and your choice of a soda or chips

NJHS Winter Warmth Drive November 13th- December 11th. Please join us in collecting items to help our friends who are struggling this winter season. We will have donation boxes set up in both the main office and the 6th grade office to collect coats, hats, gloves, new socks, nonperishable snack items, and hygiene items. Teen emPower! Inc. and Childhood 2.0 will be here for a Parent/Guardian Night Thur. Nov. 16th, 6pm-8pm: This year Teen emPower! will present to 6th and 8th grade only. We are inviting parents/guardians to an informational with the new Executive Director and Program Coordinator. Teen emPower partners with schools to provide quality sexual health education without judgment, shame, blame, or guilt. Adults in attendance will also be invited to watch a documentary that outlines and highlights dangers of social media.

We will be closed November 20th-24th for Thanksgiving Break. We'll see you back Monday, November 27th.

Acceptance Club will be selling “You Are Being Awesome” wristbands for $1 each in the main gym on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings to help celebrate World Kindness Week!
