The dozens of staff members I encountered were welcoming, patient, and kind to the hundreds of teachers who showed up in OKC for this one-of-a-kind event. Thank you for even opening your doors early so that we could process through the line and "shop" the warehouse of incredible, beautiful rug choices. 200 free rugs -wow! Thank you @Mid-Del Foundation for bestowing the gift of your generous grant to Pleasant Hill's PreK 2024-25! We were able to purchase a light table, tray, and sensory materials to enhance our senses through STEM experiences. We use the light table every day to build fine motor skills, collaborate, build and engineer, tinker with materials and movement, and explore color and dimension. This will be a multisensory learning adventure center for years to come - thank you for investing in us. You light up PreK!

Important Update for Pleasant Hill Elementary Families: Due to a water leak near an electrical transformer, Pleasant Hill will have a virtual learning day tomorrow, April 28, 2025, for the safety of our students and staff. This closure applies to Pleasant Hill Elementary only. District staff will be on hand to distribute devices between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM at the school for any student who needs one. Thank you for your understanding and support!

5th graders and families - Step Up to Midwest City Middle School on Thursday, May 1st! Preview the school, enjoy breakout sessions, games, activities, food, prizes.

Current Mid-Del Families, It’s time to begin Phase 1 of the enrollment process for the 2025–2026 school year! Phase 1 opened at 8:00 AM on Monday, April 21, 2025, for all current Mid-Del students—especially those moving to a new school site as they advance from elementary to middle school or middle school to high school. You should have received an email on April 21 containing your child’s Snapcode, which is required to complete re-enrollment. This step allows you to verify and update your student’s information, including contact details and residency. Important: You must have your student’s Snapcode to begin. If you do not receive your Snapcode, please contact your student’s school directly. Once Phase 1 is complete, you’ll be ready for Phase 2, which begins July 15 and includes submitting your updated proof of residency. 2024-2025 School Calendar Update! The Board of Education approved a change to the 2024-2025 District Calendar during tonight's Board of Education meeting. Mid-Del will be using the Snow Day originally scheduled for May 2, 2025, as a regular instructional day. That means students and staff WILL be in school on May 2. Please mark your calendars and plan accordingly—thank you for your flexibility and support! #mdpurpose

🚨 Weather Update – After-School Activities Canceled for April 1, 2025🚨 We’ve been closely monitoring the forecast and have participated in NOAA webinars and briefings from the National Weather Service. Due to the potential for severe weather later today, all after-school programs and activities are canceled for Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Classes will continue as scheduled, but we are taking extra precautions to ensure everyone's safety this afternoon. Latchkey services are also canceled after school. Pleasant Hill Families, the Scholastic Book Fair is next week- March 31st-April 4th, from 8:30am-3:30pm each day in the library. Parents are invited to shop at the book fair during these hours - please sign in at the office first. Students will have a class preview and be allotted times to shop as they have opportunity. Please see the book fair flyer (look in backpacks!) and consider setting up an eWallet for your child for a cashless shopping experience!
