Congratulations to Ms. Morris and our young musicians who represented Pleasant Hill at the Oklahoma Orff Festival in Ponca City yesterday! The program, My Many Colored Days, consisted of 12 choral songs along with instrumentation and movement. Our Orff Ensemble performed with poise, beauty, and excellent precision. Thank you, Cardinals, for this beautiful musical experience!

Thunder Bus visits Pleasant Hill. On February 9th, early childhood students had the opportunity to shop for a free book from the Thunder Book Bus. OKC Thunder, in cooperation with American Fidelity Insurance, sponsors this traveling truck & trailer filled with grade and age appropriate titles for children. Thank you to Thunder and AFI -we had a blast!

All Mid-Del families are invited to the District's STEM Family Night Thursday, April 6th from 5:30-7:30pm at Midwest City Elementary located at 2211 S Midwest Blvd.
Come and explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math in an interactive and engaging environment. Learn how to code and control robots, work with forensics, design a water filter, explore airplane flight, have a Q&A session with a NASA astronaut and more!

Update 2-2-2023. Due to the additional precipitation that came in overnight, making early morning transportation more dangerous, Mid-Del Schools will be closed Thursday, February 2, 2023. This will be a traditional snow day. Students will not have remote learning.

As of right now, we are planning to have in-person school tomorrow, February 2. The roads around here aren't perfect, but overall, we're in pretty good shape. Members of our District team will be out early in the morning driving through the district to evaluate the impact of any additional precipitation we receive overnight. According to the National Weather Service webinar from today, the chances are only slight for anything that may affect our community.

Mid-Del Schools has been participating in daily weather webinars held by the National Weather Service to discuss the current winter weather for our community. We also monitor our local news broadcasts and members of our staff drive the neighborhoods we serve to help determine whether or not to hold in-person classes in our District.
Due to the current road conditions in our neighborhoods and many of our streets throughout the entire Mid-Del community, we have made the decision that February 1, 2023, will be a Remote Learning instructional day in Mid-Del Schools. All Mid-Del evening activities have been canceled.
