Congratulations to Pleasant Hill's winners of the OKC MLK Alliance 2024 Essay and Poster Contest! Eyvan Johnson (4th Grade) was the 2nd Place Essay Winner for 3rd/4th Grade. Mya Bond (5th Grade) won 2nd Place while Ahriah Stewart (5th Grade) won 3rd Place in the 5th Grade Essay Contest. Eyvan Johnson also took home 2nd Place in the 3rd/4th Grade Poster Contest and Saniyah Mallory (5th Grade) earned 3rd Place in the 5th Grade Poster Contest. We are so proud of your distinguished and honorary work showcasing the theme "Together We Rise: One Nation, One Dream."

Families, the solar eclipse will be visible during our school day at approximately 1:44pm on Monday, April 8th. Please check with your child's teacher about their plan for viewing. If you would like to opt out, you will need to sign the district's opt-out form and return by 10:00am on Monday morning. You may get a copy of this from your child's teacher.


Our next Cardinal Connection assembly will be Thursday, April 12th, at 9:15am in the gym. PreK and Kindergarten will be leading this schoolwide celebration of spring and new beginnings! We will also have a pep rally to cheer on the 3rd-5th grade students' upcoming state testing.


Friday, April 5th, is Popcorn Day! $1 for a small bag and $2 for a large bag.

Mid-Del officials participated in a webinar with the National Weather Service this morning and have made the decision to cancel all after school and evening activities out of an abundance of caution for our students, families, and staff. We will continue to monitor today's weather and notify our families if any changes occur to our procedures.

This is a reminder that Mid-Del Schools will be closed on Friday, March 29, 2024. *District administrative offices will be open.

We wanted to remind our families about our safety protocols we have in place for District events. Please see the graphic explaining our clear bag policy and procedures. The Elementary Music Festival is happening Thursday, March 28th at the Carl Albert High School Field House and these safety protocols will be followed. Please allow for extra time for admittance if you are planning to attend Thursday evening.




Support our select upper classmen performing this Thursday at 6:30pm. Our singing Cardinals are participating in the annual Mid-Del Elementary Vocal Music Festival Concert. The event will be open to the public at the Carl Albert High School Fieldhouse located at 2009 S. Post Road in Midwest City. Arrive early to find parking!


The Spring Book Fair starts this week! Students can shop on Tuesday-Thursday at school. Before and After School Hours will be available for students and families:
