🏀 Unbelievable Feat at the Hefner 8th Grade Tournament! 🏆 It’s not every day that a school faces off against itself in a championship game, but that’s exactly what happened this weekend! 💛🖤 Our 6th Grade Girls Basketball Team played up against 8th-grade teams, dominating their games all the way to the championship match! Born in Little Falls, Minnesota, in 1954, Erdrich has spent her career weaving powerful, poetic stories that explore the Native American experience, family dynamics, and the connections between people and the land. Erdrich is one of the most acclaimed contemporary Native American authors. Her debut novel, Love Medicine (1984), received the National Book Critics Circle Award and introduced readers to a multigenerational saga of interconnected lives on a fictional Ojibwe reservation.
