Tomorrow, Friday, August 21, is the LAST DAY parents and guardians may walk their elementary students to class.
Then, on Monday, August 24, Independence Day begins! Our students will take a big step by walking to their classrooms independently, building confidence and responsibility along the way.
Don’t worry, our amazing staff will be throughout the building ready to welcome, supervise, and help students every step of the way.
We’re excited to celebrate this milestone with our students! Thank you, families, for helping us encourage confident, independent learners.

The countdown to Meet the Teacher Night is on!
We can’t wait to welcome our elementary students and families back for Elementary Meet the Teacher Night on Monday, August 10 from 4:30-7:30 PM!
Before you attend, please make sure your child’s enrollment is complete.
✅ Phase 1 Enrollment must be completed.
✅ Phase 2 Enrollment (proof of residency) must also be completed before August 10 so your child can be placed in a class and participate in Meet the Teacher Night.

The Caring Van is coming to the Mid-Del Schools Administration Building to provide immunizations for children.

The Caring Van is designed to remove common barriers to healthcare access. The program brings immunization services directly to communities, making it easier for children to stay up to date on their recommended vaccines.

Congratulations to Midwest City Senior Bombers who are graduating next Friday, May 22nd! It was great to have you here on the Hill, imparting wisdom to the PreK-5th Grade Cardinals!
Pleasant Hill's own - Ms. Darlene Stiggers, cafeteria supervisor, and Alaya Henderson, 3rd grader - volunteered for the Stamp Out Hunger Campaign, promoted and facilitated by the United States Post Office. The campaign requested donations from local citizens to be left at mailboxes, which were picked up by mail carriers the second Saturday in May. Ms. Darlene and Alaya were among many community volunteers generously working with the post office to separate canned goods and non-perishable items that day. The items were then loaded on the truck to supply the Oklahoma Regional Food Bank.
Love for literacy will be available soon via the Forest Park Little Library! Thank you to Carmen McBride with the Forest Park Neighborhood Association and artist Erin Latham, PhD, for facilitating, designing, and providing the opportunity for our Student Council to paint the Little Library box last Friday afternoon. We look forward to years of donating and seeking free books in our neighborhood.
Happy Super Kids Day! Thank you to Shatoya Bryson, community volunteers, Spencer FD, and parents for providing this fun field day for super scholars. Your time, donations, and positive energy made this a beautiful day to be a Cardinal!
