Mid-Del Launches RESET Program designed to give elementary students the chance to reset in a supportive environment that focuses on behavior, mental health, emotional well-being, and family connection.

For over a year, it has been a dream in the making to create a program specifically designed to support elementary students who are exhibiting Tier 2 behaviors within the classroom and school environment. This year, that dream will become a reality!

Our goal is to provide students with the opportunity to “reset” in a supportive, positive learning environment where the focus extends beyond behavior management to also include mental health, emotional well-being, and family connection.

This 5-week short-term placement will serve a small group of students each session who qualify through site-level interventions. The program will also offer ongoing family education and engagement, with support during both the transition into and out of the program. One of the things we’re most excited about is that the entire program will be rooted in TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) strategies and using HALO curriculum created by the founder & AMAZING Cindy Lee with permissions from the KCPID Institute - creating a trauma-informed, relationship-centered approach that truly meets kids where they are.

Here’s to creating positive change - one student & family at a time!
