The Fine Arts Program within Mid-Del Schools is an integral part of the district’s approach to diversified education centered on core curriculum. Music and Visual Art are core curriculum, and Arts for all children in Mid-Del is approached through rigorous arts education classes and integration with other academic disciplines.

Fine arts education instruction is provided by qualified degreed fine arts education teachers working in collaboration with professional artists, arts organizations, and cultural and community institutions to bring the arts to students as participants and spectators.

Mid-Del students regularly win Best in Class and Sweepstakes awards for their performances in the arts. Mid-Del students and our Superintendent of Schools have been recipients of the State Superintendent’s Award for Excellence in the Arts.

Our programs have benefited from the support of our voters in our community. Our programs have received funds that help with instruments, equipment and uniforms through our recent bonds.
