Paragraph 13 of the Settlement Agreement between the School District and the Association provides in part:

In addition to transmitting the Notice by mail and email (if known) to the last known addresses, School District shall also publish the Notice one time each week for two weeks in the legal notices section of a publication widely circulated in the School District’s geographic area. Proof of publication shall be sent by the School District to the Association.

The School District misread this paragraph as calling for publication in two different publications for one week each rather than in one publication for two weeks. This was the School District’s error, and any delay in finalization of payments caused by the error in publication is the fault of the School District.
