2024-2025 School Calendar Update! The Board of Education approved a change to the 2024-2025 District Calendar during tonight's Board of Education meeting. Mid-Del will be using the Snow Day originally scheduled for May 2, 2025, as a regular instructional day. That means students and staff WILL be in school on May 2. Please mark your calendars and plan accordingly—thank you for your flexibility and support! #mdpurpose

🎉 BIG NEWS for Mid-Del! 🎉 This past summer, Mid-Del Public Schools applied for a competitive grant through the Oklahoma County Commissioners Office—and out of more than 280 applicants, we were selected as 1 of only 12 recipients! 🙌 Thanks to this $50,000 award from the American Rescue Plan Act, we’re launching Youth Mental Health First Aid trainings over the next 3 years for our educators, student families, and community partners. 💙 To kick things off, our incredible Counseling & Mental Health Team has already trained more than 75 PreK-12 teachers across the district in the past 3 weeks! 🧠✨ We're proud to be part of this important work that supports mental health and strengthens our community. The Barnes Blue Jays were on the move this afternoon for a sunny egg hunt! With over 200 eggs scattered across the grass, our speedy Pre-K students had them all scooped up in less than four minutes—now that’s what we call egg-cellent teamwork! Big smiles, full baskets, and lots of joy were shared with their teachers and families who joined in the fun. What a sweet springtime celebration for our tiniest Blue Jays! #mdpurpose

What a magical day at Del City High School! Our Special Eagles danced the day away at their very own prom—filled with music, friends, pizza, and plenty of photo ops! From the moment the first beat dropped to the final group picture, the joy in the room was contagious. These incredible students lit up the dance floor and our hearts.
