The Board of Education named Mrs. Adrianne Harless as Secondary Administrative Intern at Carl Albert Middle School for the 2023-2024 school year. Mrs. Harless, a product of Mid-Del herself, is excited to continue her educational journey in an administrative intern role. An alumni of Soldier Creek Elementary, Carl Albert Jr. High and Carl Albert High School, she holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Oklahoma as well as two master’s degrees; one in school counseling from John Brown University and one in educational leadership from Mid-America Christian University. Mrs. Harless has had an extensive career spanning from a secondary teacher, school counselor at various sites and most recently served as a counselor at CAMS. She has also served by coaching track, basketball and cheer throughout her career. Adrianne has been married to her husband, Tim, for 22 years. Her greatest joys are her children, Easton and Gracen. Adrianne plans to use her experience in mental health to help foster positive growth in students, families and educators. Please help us congratulate Mrs. Harless! #mdpurpose

Tune in to News9 this weekend for a great story featuring Del City High School's SRO Kyle Preston, Del City Police Department, and how his social media post about helping fill Del City High School's Food pantry went viral. Mid-Del's own Tia Moore was able to talk about how our schools, like most schools in the metro, have food pantries who assist families and students who need a little extra help. #mdpurpose
