Laura Buxton, GEAR UP for Life Project Director through the K20 Center, met with our middle school and high school principals today in preparation for the 2025-2026 school year. The K20 Center runs the Gaining Early Access and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) grant that follows all of our Mid-Del students in the Class of 2029 and Class of 2030. Mid-Del is currently in the first year of this grant where students are given unique student experiences to encourage early awareness, as well as staff are given a variety of opportunities for professional development in supporting the college and career goals of our students. We are thankful to partner with the K20 Center to support the academic and look forward to preparing for year 2 of the grant! #mdpurpose

For the first time ever, a Mid-Del team has qualified for the CyberPatriot Nationals—and we’re the ONLY team representing Oklahoma!
Our B-21 Raiders from the Mid-Del Air Force JROTC units made history by dominating the state competition and taking 1st place in the nationwide semi-finals. Their hard work, sharp skills, and relentless dedication have earned them a spot on the national stage!
