The Carl Albert High School Academic Team finished their season as Conference Champs, Area Champs, and placed 3rd at OSSAA State for Class 5A! Congratulations!


Over the weekend, Mid-Del students, staff, and school board members participated and attended the 27th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Prayer Breakfast in Midwest City. It was a great morning celebrating the life of Dr. King and the message today was “Stand up. Speak up.”
The Midwest City High School Jazz Band performed throughout the morning. All three Mid-Del high school Color Guards combined to present the colors. Miss Taniyah Willsun, from Midwest City High School, sang the Black National Anthem. Dr. Silvya Kirk and Heather Graham were members of the event committee.
Congratulations to Tory Antywon Deon Ware, II, from Midwest City High School, who received a $1,000 scholarship from the committee.

The Board of Education named Mr. Steven Baker, as Secondary Administrative Intern for the Mid-Del Career Academy.
Mr. Baker has 20 years of experience working in various capacities within the education setting including providing STEM instruction, serving as a department chair at Delgado Community College, as well as providing STEM instruction in Moore Public Schools as one of their first educators to initiate that program. Most recently, Mr. Baker has brought the same passion for student experiences to OKCPS as an instructional coach.
Mr. Baker has been married for 29 years. He has three children ages 18 to 25. We welcome Mr. Steven Baker! #mdpurpose
