SPRING has SPRUNG at Tinker Elementary!
Ms. Dawn Barbee, Tinker's amazing school nurse, is bringing the sunshine indoors with these bloom-tastic decorations!
The entire Tinker Elementary office is bursting with color and warmth—just like the care she gives our students every day. We’re grateful for staff who go above and beyond to make our schools feel like home.

Today is brewing with appreciation because it’s National Joe Day — and we’re celebrating one of Mid-Del’s finest, Joe Clayton!
Parkview Elementary showed Joe just how much he’s loved with gifts, gratitude, and a whole lot of cheer. Joe is truly essential to Mid-Del — he keeps our campuses and support sites connected by delivering important mail and making sure communication flows across the district like clockwork. He visits every school every day!
From all of us in Mid-Del… we love you, Joe! You’re more than just our go-to guy — you’re a legend.

This week, our middle school students dove into powerful lessons on the dangers of vaping and tobacco use—part of our ongoing commitment to keeping harmful products out of the hands of youth. Thanks to support from the ABLE Commission and TSET, these presentations are helping students make informed, healthy choices that last a lifetime.
Special thanks to Captain Erik Smoot and Agent Nathan Barnes for leading these impactful sessions and equipping our students with knowledge they can carry forward.
Knowledge is power—and we’re proud to empower the next generation!

Ever Wonder What It’s Like to Be a Principal for a Day?
As we celebrate Public Schools Week, we want to highlight the incredible work of our school principals—the leaders who make our schools successful every day!
Today, we partnered with the Midwest City Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program to give 18 community members the unique opportunity to step into the role of Principal for a Day across Mid-Del Schools. From greeting students at the door and opening car doors for our youngest learners to helping in the cafeteria and witnessing the daily responsibilities of school leadership, our guest principals got a firsthand look at what it takes to run a school!
The feedback? Our principals are truly amazing! Participants shared their appreciation for the love and dedication our principals have for their students, as well as the incredible efforts of our teachers and support staff in making each day successful.
A huge thank you to the Midwest City Chamber of Commerce and all 18 participants for taking the time to experience the heart of our schools. We are proud to showcase the dedication, passion, and teamwork that make Mid-Del Schools a great place to learn and grow! #PublicSchoolsWeek #PrincipalForADay #OneDistrictOneFamily #mdpurpose
