It's Military Spouse Appreciation Day, and we want to take a moment to recognize some incredible heroes in our schools.
To the military spouses who serve our schools with heart, dedication, and resilience—you inspire us. Your support of our students and your families, all while carrying the weight of military life, does not go unnoticed. You give your all at school and at home, and for that, we are truly grateful.
Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your strength.
We see you. We appreciate you. We stand with you.

Important Message for Mid-Del Families :
We want to make you aware of a dangerous trend spreading on social media that could harm students and damage school-issued devices. Please take a moment to read this important letter from the District regarding the “Chromebook Smoke” challenge. Thank you.

Today, we’re giving a round of applause to our amazing ASL Interpreters!
Thank you for being the bridge that connects, empowers, and ensures that every voice is seen and heard. Your presence in our schools brings access, equity, and so much heart to every conversation.
We appreciate your dedication to our students, staff, and families—your work truly speaks volumes.

To kick off Mental Health Awareness Month, our amazing District Mental Health Specialists teamed up with the new MWCPD Crisis Intervention Response Team (C.I.R.T) to bring meaningful conversations about mental health to our students.
🚨 Their first stop? Carl Albert High School! The team—featuring Ashlee Tollison, Abigail McCalister, Sgt. Fisher, Ofc. Wise, and the beloved Miles the Therapy Dog 🐾—spent the day presenting “Mental Health Challenges: Recognizing Signs & Encouraging Help” to all Freshman Orientation classes and the CA Leadership Program.
💚 We are so thankful for community partners who are passionate about supporting student well-being and breaking the stigma around mental health. This is just the beginning!
